Each creative solution is responsive to the program with full attention to function, purpose and materials used.  The firm addresses not only the practical goals but also the emotional aspirations of the client.  As needed, the firm may collaborate with artisans and artists having long standing relationship with the firm, further enhancing the quality of our work.


With more than twenty years of experience in the design of residencies and commercial projects for clients at home and abroad, Peter Soldat Architecture believes that every commission is an opportunity for creative collaboration regardless of type, size or location.

Upon earning advanced degrees in civil/structural engineering and later in architecture in Czechoslovakia, Peter Soldat continued to work in Europe with local and international clients resulting in published work and award wining projects.


After relocating to California, he worked for several architectural firms in the Bay Area including Ratcliff, where he became Senior Associate.
